IDERA – SQL Compliance Manager

IDERA SQL Compliance Manager audits SQL Server for data compliance, monitoring, alerting, and reporting on the compliance status of Microsoft SQL Server across physical, virtual, and cloud environments from a single desktop console. The product is designed to significantly reduce the time and effort database administrators spend configuring regulatory and audit compliance settings, turning a task that can otherwise take days or weeks into a matter of minutes, and it ships with templates for common regulatory guidelines including PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, CIS, DISA STIG, FERPA, NERC, and SOX, alongside the ability to build custom guidelines that match organizational standards. Auditing can be captured at varied levels of detail, from servers and instances down to individual databases and database objects, covering logins, administration, security, database definition and modification, and user-defined events, while monitoring tracks both the frequency and volume of data access. SQL Compliance Manager lets teams turn off auditing for trusted users and refine what is tracked for privileged accounts, raising alerts only for valid compliance issues and integrating that data with SIEM tools via SNMP or event logs. Audit reports can be built from predefined templates or customized and generated through SQL Server Reporting Services, with long-term archival supporting trend analysis, and the product fully supports SQL Server 2025.
