Designed as an extension of Skyhigh’s Secure Service Edge (SSE) capabilities, the product provides enhanced visibility into data at rest and in motion, covering sanctioned cloud services, shadow IT, and GenAI applications. DSPM offers advanced data classification driven by AI/ML, continuous monitoring of data usage, UEBA-based detection of anomalous user activity, and centralized posture management to simplify compliance and auditing. It enables organizations to identify shadow IT risks, prioritize misconfigurations and exposures, and apply automated, policy-based remediation to reduce risk. The solution emphasizes proactive risk mitigation—fixing platform misconfigurations, preventing unauthorized data transfers, and enforcing DLP inline through custom tag management.
