Aembit provides identity and access management for non-human identities — applications, scripts, CI/CD pipelines, AI agents, and MCP servers — built around a "secretless" model that eliminates stored API keys and long-lived credentials in favor of short-lived, cryptographically verified, just-in-time credentials issued at the moment of access. Its central component is a workload identity broker that authenticates a requesting workload's identity and posture (using signals such as CrowdStrike or Wiz risk scores) before brokering a scoped, time-limited credential for the target system, removing the need for secrets to be hard-coded, vaulted, or manually rotated. A dedicated MCP Gateway extends this model to agentic AI, enforcing per-agent policy and producing an audit trail that distinguishes human-initiated from agent-initiated actions, with one-click revocation of agent access. The platform supports OAuth, OIDC, SPIFFE, and Kerberos, and integrates with major cloud providers, identity providers, LLM platforms, and CI/CD tooling. It is delivered as a cloud-native SaaS with a free tier for smaller deployments and enterprise licensing for larger organizations, targeting use cases such as secretless CI/CD, multi-cloud data warehouse access, and governance of autonomous AI agent workloads.
