ESET – PROTECT XDR

ESET PROTECT XDR is the extended detection and response tier of the ESET PROTECT platform, combining ESET's endpoint protection with ESET Inspect, the company's detection and response component, to identify anomalous behavior and breaches quickly across the managed estate. The platform gives security teams visibility into what is happening on protected devices and correlates that activity with wider signals to surface indicators that endpoint prevention alone would not flag. ESET Inspect provides the investigative layer — rule-based detections that can be tuned to the environment, process and behavior inspection, root cause analysis, and the ability to hunt across historical telemetry for indicators discovered after the fact. Response actions are executed from the same console and include isolating machines from the network, killing processes and blocking executables across the estate. ESET emphasizes flexible deployment, with cloud and on-premises management options, and the PROTECT platform integrates additional modules covering mail security, full disk encryption, vulnerability and patch management and cloud application protection, so organizations can consolidate several controls under one console. The product is commonly evaluated by organizations that already run ESET endpoint protection and want detection and response without changing vendor.
