A wide range of response options is available, reflecting the breadth of enforcement points the Security Fabric provides — the platform can act at the firewall, on the endpoint, or across network segments rather than being limited to host-level containment. For organizations already standardized on Fortinet, this native reach is the primary argument for FortiXDR over an open XDR platform, since correlation and response both benefit from the vendor owning the enforcement points.
