ANY.RUN is a cloud-based interactive malware sandbox aimed at SOC teams, analysts and MSSPs that want to detonate suspicious files and links and watch the behavior unfold in real time. Analysts work in a browser-based virtual machine where they can click, type, open archives, browse websites and drag in files to trigger samples that need user action, while the platform flags malicious behavior as it appears. Virtual machines start within seconds and reports arrive in roughly a minute, with environments covering Windows, macOS, Linux and Android. Output includes process and network activity, C2 detection, HTTP and DNS inspection, in-memory analysis with malware configuration extraction, IOCs, TTPs and standardized Tier 1 reports with AI-assisted action plans. Teams get shared workspaces with VM presets, a team API quota and workspace analytics, while an API, SDK and STIX or MISP formats connect results to SIEM, TIP and XDR tools. Analyses can be public or private depending on the plan, enterprise plans add SSO through SAML 2.0 and optional multi-factor authentication, and the vendor reports SOC 2 Type II attestation along with AES-256 encryption of stored data. ANY.RUN also sells threat intelligence lookup and feed products built from its sandbox sessions.
