Spectra Analyze is the malware analysis and threat hunting workbench in the ReversingLabs Spectra portfolio, aimed at SOC analysts from tier-one triage to tier-three hunting. Its core is high-speed static binary analysis that deconstructs files and embedded objects in real time, unpacking more than 400 file formats and identifying over 4,800 file types, so hidden and evasive threats surface without waiting on detonation. ReversingLabs argues this static-first approach avoids execution delays and sandbox-evasion tricks, and for cases that need behavior it also offers RL Spectra Sandbox, a private cloud dynamic analysis service built into the product with no extra infrastructure to run. Files and URLs receive classifications and verdicts backed by human-readable indicators drawn from ReversingLabs’ large repository of malware and goodware, and teams can be notified if a verdict changes later. Analysts get role-based dashboards, advanced search with more than 500 expressions, retro-hunting, relationship graphs that link dropped files, contacted domains and IP addresses, and a YARA workflow for building, testing and importing rules. Submissions stay private in an onboard datastore, and a REST API plus built-in connectors reach cloud storage, file shares, email, EDR, SIEM, SOAR and other sandboxes. Spectra Analyze relies on Spectra Intelligence data, which ReversingLabs sells as a separate product.
